Retreiving files and drivers

Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me out. I recently upgraded my motherboard and cpu, tried to boot from my old 120 gb HD but of course, no joy. I had an anohter empty 30gb hard drive which I reinstalled windows xp pro and set my other hard drive to slave. The Pc boots up fine now and recognises the slave drive. I had a lots of programs, Nero, power dvd etc. on the old hard drive.Is it possible to transfer all my old programs, hardware drivers etc from my old drive or do I have to install them all again on the new one.

You can tranfer the install files, but not Installed files.
