Reuse fans?

I have a couple of fans from an old computer that I had for about 4 years. Would it be a very bad idea to reuse the fans?

As long as they still work fine, go for it. Besides, it's no big deal if a case fan goes out, it's not as if your computer is going to over heat.

If you have few slots available then as PohTayToez said go for it. If you have small fans installed, exchange them with a bigger ones if there it is available.
