Review my build here

I only like radeons, nVidea or w/e doesnt like me... (bad history)

price limit ~$1000

everything looks good, but id try a different vid card manufacturer. asus mobos are great, but from what ive heard, asus gpu's are garbage compared to other brands.

go for the same GPU but different model. I have 2 asus GPUs and wish i didn't, i'd get about 25% better output from a different branded 8600GT, bad spend by me. The motherboards are excellent though so don't panic over that.

As for price just have a look around other websites or, if you have any close by, nearby computer shops for better prices. If you have to mix and match between places for best prices it wont make a difference to your build, you will get the same stuff at better prices but from more than place.

i want to get all from one place,

and i live on an island, there arent any cheap computer stores near by... anyways, go a good GPU i could have for under $200??

edit:
how about this

Will you overclock? If not, Q8300 would be the better choice

PSU: Do you really need a 750W PSU? But $100 for that is a good buy

thanks for the tip on the q8300 never found that...

and yea the 750 is something that is a must, im soon going to crossfire some 4870s x2 (when i make enough money lol) and someone told my 750 was minimum for good results
anything else?

ALSO! big question...

why was the q8300 cheaper then the q6600

No clue why its cheaper...

You can get cheaper RAM. And a lot of people say that 1066 RAM is not really better, or worth the extra cash that 800MHz. And 800MHz can be had for 27 bucks.

You sure you wanna have open box GPU?

Personally, I would get a raidmax smilodon.
Here's a link to the 2 with out PSU:

Plus, they have a fold-out MOBO tray, so getting the mobo in cant be asier

Q8300 have a price cut recently. some ppl said it is not overclock as good as Q6600. however, I also heard ppl said the latest Q6600 are not overclock as good as before, don't know if it is true.

looks good, id get a Q6600 over the Q8300 though, i wouldnt bother spending that amount of money on that RAM, just get PC6400. also that PSU is a bit overkill for that system but if you are gonna run 2 4870X2 then you'll need it.

why was the q8300 cheaper then the q6600

coz it has less cache. Q8300 2 X 2Mb, Q6600 2 X 4Mb
