Right Click menu question

In Windows XP Pro my "right click menu" has far too many options . I would ideally like to delete a few of these options as I don't use them all.

Is there a way to delete some of these unwanted options.

try uninstalling some of the programs that put them on there in the first place. Or do you want to keep the programs?

I want to keep the programs.

The 3 problems are WinRAR, Winamp and MKWact (a SHN to Wav converter).

I can remember when I was on Win 98se finding my way (by accident) into a folder that contained the options for the "send to" folder which is also on the "right click" menu.

I just wondered if all these options from the right click menu were in one folder which I could access and maybe delete a few of them.

Dear mapollo,

Some of programs give you an installation option wether you will put that menu or not.
try to re-install these program or you can inactive it through registry.
have you any experience in changing the registry?? If not, dont do this, it's dangerous if you mischange it.

you should be able to go into each program (winamp for example) and turn those off. I know I did on mine, I dont remember exactly how I did it but my right click doesnt show much at all.

Thanks for your replys.

I have tided up a couple of the programs that were filling up my Right click menu. I did it by going into the options of Winamp and Winrar and sorting it in there.

Thanks again....
