Right forum?

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum or not... but here it goes. I have all kinds of "junk" on my computer, kazaa, smilies, toolbars... in any case I am assuming that this is what's causing my computer to be so darn slow. So programs I can remove through the add/remove software, but some just wont budge... any suggestions?

Things like this would be classed as 'adware', which you can remove with various spyware/adware removal software, like ad-aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Basically you just want to get one of these ad/spyware removers and run a scan on your system, it ought to find and flush out any of this junk you have.

if u don't want programes i.e. toolbars, kazaa and smilies u can completely remove them by windows adding & removiing programes. another option is get Spybot S&D and do run-up.this programe is better for removing spywares. bare in mind that kazaa does comes with spywares.
if u wanna know more about p2p softwares n revies go here.....

Truth fears no questions
I remember a few years ago when I first downloaded Kazza and morpheous... never fund out which one loaded most of them but I think I found something like 175 additions in my registry that should not have been there...

thankfully I found out about Adaware and the various other programs out there.... now EVERYONE is learning about spyware the easy way.. OR the hard way...
