Ripping DVD Movies

I have used Windows Movie Maker to capture the information from my Handycam mini DV tape.

However it is on a .avi file and i need to make it into a dvd. I can burn DVD video files such as .bup .vob .ifo using my Nero Express burner.

How can i convert my .avi video to dvd format?

Any suggestions?

Here's an option, if you have a firewire port.

You can also look into a trial of Adobe Premiere Pro if you want really powerful editing features and the ability to organize your clips on the DVD.

Try a program called DVD Santa or VSO, you can also do it with Nero Vision Express.

First off, what you're doing is not "ripping" Having that in your subject makes it sound illegal

I've never tried the above methods/software, but they probably work better than what I'd suggest. I have Super(just search google for Super video converter or something) It works quite well and i sfree.
