Rivatuner not working :(

just got my new 8800gt evga and i cant get riva tuner to register any drivers for overclocking
i installed the driver from nvidia and still nothing uninstalled the drivers and rivatuner reinstalled both and still nothing

anyone know how to fix this?
 
I only use RivaTuner for my fan profile, since I can find any other program to make custom fan profiles like RivaTuner lets you do. I would just go with EVGA Precision for overclocking, like stated above. I would keep checking the RivaTuner website and wait for a new update. It's just because the current RivaTuner program isn't compatible with the new drivers.
 
From what i understand...

Rivatuner will work with ealier drivers, but they have not updated rivatuner to cover the newer drivers yet.

I had the same problem when i installed the latest drivers for my 8800gts, so i just installed an ealier one (the 182.5 one i think)

So you can either wait untill they bring out the new rivatuner, or install an older driver for now, and when the new one does come out, update your video card driver then.
