Hi guys,
To cut a long story short, basically I recieved a DOA Drive from Scan.co.uk (WD 400GB Sata2)
Tried different PSU's, minimal Components, all sata ports including external ports, many sata cables, all sata power connectors.
It Boots up, You can hear the drive spin up 3 times then give up, whilst not letting me get past the Asus screen. Cannot get into BIOS to see if its recognised.
Requesting an RMA tonight. Heard that with scan It can take a while.
Still under warranty, only 1/2 weeks old, any chance I can just sent it back soon under RMA, and ask for a refund if found faulty when tested instead of replacement.
So that I could order another tonight from Ebuyer.
Is this possible, or is it I have to be sent a replacement instead of a refund?
Thanks
Jason
