Roleplaying Recommendations

Hi,

My friend just got a new computer and really likes roleplaying games. He was asking me what I would recommend. I told him that Diablo II was excellent but he wants something a little newer to really use his graphics card. Any recommendations? I think he has an Nvidia 6600.

Screw WoW. Its like 15 a month USD to play. Get guild wars. Its like 50 dollars, and free online play, whenever. And there comming out with an Expansion soon. And its not too hard on the system, well it is, but you can make it so it isnt.. Get it, I love the game!
 
One game rules all for Single Player RPG's:

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic (1 or 2)

I love those games.
 
i used to play Dungeon Siege, IMO its better than Diablo 2, i didnt try Dungeon Siege 2 but i hear from my class mates that its great, but WoW rocks and CSS (not rpg lol) of course
 
For a single player game, Sacred is similar to diablo but with much better graphics. The multiplayer is there but not alot of people online, and poorly designed server setup.
