I just ordered the Rosewill RP550 and i was wondering if anyone has/had this product before. I can't find a decent review on it, but i am certainly confident it should be pretty good. It seems to have A+ specs for a PSU, and its only $45.

Any comments welcome.

A Good One :)

I really think that the Rosewell is really good. I am saying that because when you look at the specs such as the voltage readings, you see that the numbers are more than you will need. This is giving you sufficient room to add many devices without overwhelming the system.

well for 50$ why not get a better one at the same price

they look really nice if u have clear CASE

...no specs at all. but from what i have read those are pretty good PSU's, i just don't like the way they look and they still have less AMPS than the Rosewill. i think that wpuld just be preference in design and what not between the 2.

Id need to electrical specs, as things stand 60% efficiency doesnt impress me

yah right now i think 75% is the max efficiency rating (even on the PC&P ones.) and to even get that u need Active PFC i think...i don't hae that kind of money:(

im hoping it will be alot better than my current one though, its:

12v = 12A, 5v = 32A, 3.3v = 30A and only 330 watts total. and i get random bad bootups and anything too high (above 2.35GHz or 235FSB) is unstable. bad fluctuation on 12v (gone down to 11.78v under load).
