I have a D-link DI-524, it has 4 ethernet ports, and wireless. It has been working strong untill today. the wireless does not work, I have reset it, unplugged everything reset. The SSID comes up and i connect, but has no bars. But when i plug into router it works. Any Ideas>?

I donot believe wireless connection is so successful.Try for broadband connection only.

Okay...well...This isn't always an option. Certainly wired is more reliable, but wireless is much more convenient and works just fine when properly configured.

Anyways....you daid you rest your router. Do you mean you just unplugged it or did a FACTORY RESET. Usually there is button to go back to factory defaults, but sometimes its in the router config page.

Test to see if another computer can connect wirelessly. If it can then you will know its that one PC.

Make sure that there isn't a static IP set on the PC and ensure that you are using the correct password/passphrase to connect wirelessly (if you have encryption on) If in fact you do have encryption on, TEST to see if turning it off allows you to connect. If it does then reconfigure the encryption properly.
