router+power outage

Hey everyone,
I just bought a router and it was working fine until the power went out in my house. Before I set it up it worked as a Dynamic IP. Now, when i try to re-register it instead of automatically noticing the IP etc. it says "Obtaining network parameters" over and over again and does not register.

have you reset the router and runing the setup disk again
