routing on nt4?

Hello, Question for experts on Windows NT 4.0

My server is Windows NT 4.0, currently hooked up to a Linksys Router with QoS giving full bandwidth the it and low to the other computers and switches.

I want to have my Windows NT Server be the router of my network, I got two NICs in my computer and now i cannot go onto the internet, i spent many many hours last night trying to make the internet on the server work with a pure connection from the modem to the server, i forgot to set my setting to DHCP and then i could get on (my internet is Dynamic IP, so that may present a problem because i cant type in a static IP), Now the thing is, i need the DHCP service to run on the NIC with the internet, then have the DHCP server run on the second NIC which is going to connect to a Switch and the computers will get an IP from the second NIC

If it were XP i wouldnt be here, because i just bridge the connections, but since XP isnt a Domain Server, im here

Thanks and have a Happy New Year!

i got the internet back on, it was a problem with IP's, the server had the same one as another computer on the network, i typed it wrong after putting back in the router, so the internet works fine with the linksys router

but i still would like to know how to have windows NT route the internet

if no has any ideas for NT 4 can you give me instructions on how to do it in windows 2000 server(getting it soon)

thanks so much

happy new year!
