running 1080p

I now happened to have extra graphic card. hd4850.

With this card I am trying to build a comp to run hd files. Simply put a Media comp.

My problem is choosing cpu,mother board, ram,power supply at its best compatibillity

while not drifting away from my priority goal. (That means I don't need i3 or 6g of ram)

What would be a good choice of parts with minimal damage on my bank account?

All you really need is a nice dual-core. My computer right now (in my sig) runs HD video perfectly at 1080p.

What is the make and model of the power supply you are looking at using for this system? There are a lot of poor quality power supply units out there on the market.
