running only @ 118.5mhz ???

It's saying you have DDR237

My guess is that it lowered itself to around DDR233 for some odd reason. Look in the BIOS and see if theres an option to change it.

And what motherboard do you have?

did you overclock anything?

I know that my asus motherboard set the ram pretty low toowhen i used the AI overclocking.

ya - I overclocked my CPU (AMD64 3700+ @2.6)
that's about it
I also put little higher voltage on the memory

yea, your fsb is 236 right? that would give you about 2.6ghz, and if you run a ddr200 memory divider that gives you ddr236.. which is why cpu-z is showing up like that. if you overvolted the memory too, that means its running hotter than it ought to. fix it.

I did put the Voltage little bit back
The CPU is @ 2.6 - but the memory is still showing wrong (i wouldn't care if it was just showing wrong but I don't know if it runs at its correct speed)

There's something wrong with the divider, cause if you set the memory to DDR400 the divider should be 11, yet it's 22. Setting the memory to DDR333 should change the divider to 14 and giving you a memory clock of 185MHz (DDR370) and you could then tighten the timings. But there's definately something weird about the memory divider.

Video Card

Hey, I know it's gonna sound freaky, but somehow when i bought a nvidia video card to an old Intel P3 it takes some of my processor speed, the processor was a 800Mhz but the video card take it to 677Mhz, i've tried to overclock the processor and it didn't work, so let me say in my short experience that maybe you have a hardware conflict between some parts of your PC.

Real Speed?

Hey, I'm kind of confussed, you have 400Mhz but you say they would be working at 200Mhz, so what does it means that my memories also are 400Mhz??

Actually, DDR and DDR2 have "Double Data Rate". Many people slip up and say that DDR400 runs at 400Mhz, but actually DDR400 runs at 200Mhz.

okay here's little update
I tried to put the CPU frequency back a little I think on about 235Mhz instead of 237Mhz and the frequncy on the memory dropped a little bit also - (117.5 to be exact) so the memory is CPU frequency dependable ???
I don't get it - I tried to change to frequencies around from DDR400 to 333 and AUTO and still the same
I don't know what else...

Both CPU and Memory speed are dependant off of the FSB, so if you change the FSB, you change both the memory and CPU speeds.

is that good ?

edit- oh these are when I still had 237mhz on the CPU freq.
Plus I put the voltage on memory to 2.8 instead of 2.6 as shown (pictures r little outdated but everything else is the same
