running slow

Hello, I have a computer that is running very slow. It has been defragmented, disc cleaned. And had antivirus run through it. It has windows xp on it. It was doing good until it got hit with a rogue virus. I would appreciate any info. I can get. Thank you

I dont know all the specs, here is what I do know. Windows xp, 80 gb. HDD, 15" thin monitor,

right click my computer choose properties give me ram and cpu

did you click the link a gave you previously? how much free space do you ahve on your hard drive?

Get rid of the virus immdiately.

And then try to clean registrycause it may have altered some registry items maliciously.
