Running the Witcher 2?

My first venture in computer gaming was with The Witcher and I loved that game. Now I want to get the second one but apparently my video card does not meet the minimum specs. Everything else on my computer is well above what is required and my video card surpasses each of the individual features required (Video Ram, pixel shader, and vertex shader) so why won't it work?

I've got a laptop so upgrading is not an option nor is buying a new computer. The card I have is an NVS 3100. For the specs I mentioned above, the video ram required is 512MB, 3.0 for pixel shader, and 3.0 for vertex shader. I have 2.1 GB and versions 4.1. Am I missing something here because it seems to me like I should be able to run this game.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I don't know anything about computer gaming.

The NVS 3100 is an entry-level workstation card, and it is designed and built differently than a desktop card and is meant to render different things. Thus, it is not very good at 3D gaming, and The Witcher 2 is a very demanding game across the board. I originally played it with a Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU and SLI 8800M GTX's and I had to run it with all the settings low and on a low resolution.
