, about a month ago i got a capture card called roxio. i installed the software and laucnhed it to go. The menu pops up and it give you the option to either capture or edit, i click capture and i get an error message that says Microsoft visual c++ Runtime libary.. This application has requested to terminate it in an unusal way. Ive done EVERYTHING i could find online to fix the problem and i currently have a technician trying to figure it out. I know its not the disk because ive installed it and ran it on another computer. Also im running an HP pavilon with windows 7.

You said you have a technician trying to fix it. So I'm guessing that you're paying them to do it? If they are trying to fix this problem it would only complicate solving the problem if you are going behind them and doing other things.
