I keep getting this box poping up every now and then that says runtime error line 24, 48...ect ect and it says do you want to debug now and if I click on yes it says I cant debug! What is a runtime error and how can I fix this problem?

A runtime error is an error that occurs while the program is running hence "runtime error". This may be a cause of bad programming or events that are not programmed to handle etc. One way to fix the problem is to debug as you have stated, If you can't do this try troubleshooting the errors.
Does this error message occur when using a particular piece of software?

No it only happens once in a while when I am surfing the web and it happend on different websights I seen that line# so I thought it might be a bad script or something?

I checked the errors any these are the most likely reasons for which you got the runtime error:

Error #24 An error occurred while reading data from the network.

This error usually indicates that something happened to the network connection; modem hang-up, physical wiring problem, RealAudio Server or RealServer problem or too much network traffic.
  • Check that your network connection is still active. If it is, it is recommended that you try the clip again at a less busy time.

Error #48 You need a newer client to access this proxy. Please Upgrade.

If you received this error you probably have a very old version of the Player. You should upgrade to the lastest version of the Player. Refer to the Download page to download the latest version.
  • Note: If your system does not meet the stated minimum requirements for using the latest Player, then you are not going to be able to access content from the latest Servers. You should still be able to use the previous Players to access content which is streamed from compatible Servers. For example, RealAudio Player 3.0 can be used to listen to content from 3.0 and 2.0 Servers.

My friend is a computer programer and said it was a java thing and to update my java and that should fix it so I did and have not had a runtime error so far I am keeping my fingers crossed
