rut roh...did i fry my video card?

hey guys...i think i fried my video card.
i tried to OC it and now all i get on my monitor in windows is a christmaslike blend of colors...i know its booting OK though, cause you can *just* make out the start menu through it.
im on the PC now, it works in safe mode, but not normal.
helppppp!!!!


-i already tried to get rid of the program and its runtime to make the video card go back to normal.
-yes, i tried to set the clock back to the normal rate, but i couldnt do that in safe mode...

what program did you use to overclock it. The screen going all strange is because you have set either or both the core and memory frequencies too high, its really easy to fix. When you restart it should go back to normal. The overclock is set by the driver or the program not the Bio of the card or the system, so you should be able to boot normally because the driver or program in Windows hasn't kicked in yet. It should kick in after the boot screen, most programs should come with a shortcut to reset it. I know if you used the nvidia drive, you can hold the "shift" key and the frequency of the card will go back to normal when you log in. I don't think your card is fried, if its fried it should work at all. You shouldn't expect the worse so fast.
