Hello i am new to building computers and I am running into some problems big shock. I just got my computer put together over the weekend and it's a joke. I tried GTA V and Fallout 4. The test i ran on GTA was a god awful 4.3 FPS laugh if you will i am chuckling a little because why even load the game lol. I dont understand why its THAT low I expected it to be maybe 20 to 40 because everything was on the lowest settings. I need some guidance with this.

my pc:
Thermaltake Smart 500w 80+ white power supply
GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-DS3H
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G processor
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower
WD Blue HDD 1TB
Intel SSD 545s series 256GB
Ballistix Sport LT 8GB DDR4 2666 MT/s RAM
Windows 10 64 bit

Cheap build I know but I just wanted to get my feet wet playing pc games and build up from there. I dont have a lot of money so if there's anything i can do to maybe get this going better please let me know.

Thanks for your time.

That sounds about right. The Ryzen G series is really intended for eSports, GTAV and Fallout 4 are quite demanding. I would suggest picking up an entry level GPU like a GTX 1050 or GTX 1050ti.

Yeah you'll need a dedicated video card to get the performance you are looking for. You might even want a 1060 for the GTA 5 as people say you really need a good card to play that decently.

A 1050 TI should handle GTA V alright, but yeah a 1060 will do better.

Could it be a RAM issue? Haven't kept much up with the new Ryzen APUs, but it could look like OP has single channel RAM. I don't think it should be 4FPS low.

Yeah could it be a RAM issue? Seems how it's got built in graphics, do i need to somehow partition some of the RAM just for the Vega graphics? im just trying to get as much info as i can before spending anymore money..

Oh also, when i load up FO4 the bethesda logo as well as the s.p.e.c.i.a.l. videos and the war video at the very beginning of the game before you change your character for the first time all load and play through beautifully with no hitch.
