I'm pretty sure it's possible, what I'm looking for is an adapter. From S-Video (7-pin) > Composite. I can't find one anywhere on Newegg...

trying searching for an s-video to component out? your looking for the adapter that lets plug in a tv yes?

Yup, an old CRT television that doesn't take 7-pin S-Video plugs, unless there are adapters that can change 7-pin to 4-pin?

***EDIT***
Tried your suggestion, nothing came up that looks like what I need :(

I'm pretty sure those 7-pin plugs are just a proprietary version of SVHS. An SVHS cable will still plug into it and work. Have you tried this? I can test it on my cards and see what happens, but I'm quite sure I did this on my 7600GT and it had some kind of component output (used more than 4 pins).

There's an 9-pin adapter on Newegg, but I need 7. And @The_Other_One, can you check that out for me? My 4870 only has 2 DVI ports. I'm making a new build that I can connect to my older CRT TVs.

Just confirmed; I have video playing on my TV through SVHS. The cable is plugged directly into whatever port is on the back of the 9800GT (7-9 pins)
