So I bought a new motherboard, RAM, and SSD. Here are my components:
OCZ 700MXSP 700W PSU
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Phenom II 955 X 4
XFX GTX+ 9800
G.SKILL DDR-1866 PC3-14900 8GB X 2 CL 10-11-10-30
Hyper X SAVAGE SSD SATA III 240GB
Windows XP SP3

Computer randomly crashing while playing D3 RoS. Lasts longer on lower resolution, but still crashes randomly.

I have all the latest driver for the video card and Im pretty sure I have all the correct motherboard drivers installed.

Did you DOCP or manually set the timings/freq/voltage of your RAM?

Also you may want to test with another GPU since that card came out about 7 years ago.

Are you using XP x64? I'd also say it's definitely time to ditch XP.

I don't know what DOCP I'd but I'm assuming that means auto. I've tried both. Another thread I found had the guy changing vcore voltage and dram voltage. I tried their settings and it didn't work for me either.

I'll try changing the gfx card next. Any recommendations?

If I had the money id upgrade from xp 32 but I'm going minimalist at the moment upgrading one thing at a time. If you know where I can get a free copy of 7 or 8 by all means.

If you are running a 32bit OS then you have a problem with the 16gb of memory installed since a 32bit OS will only use about 3.5gb of ram. Try using only 4gb of memory.
