Why on earth does my computer (apparently) freeze every time I try to boot in safe mode with command prompt? It gets stuck EVERY TIME when it's loading Mup.sys... why? It seems to boot up fine in normal mode and safe mode w/o the terminal, but there's something wrong with the bloody thing and I need to get in the prompt to fix some stuff (some dimwit here lost the Installation CD, so that's no way to get in the console)
Or is it just normal for it to take so long, I can see the HD light blinking occasionally, but I've tried waiting like 10-15 minutes and it doesn't get past the Mup.sys line...
EDIT: Nevermind, apparently my Windows installation got bricked altogether, it BSODs at boot, now none of the modes is working... gonna have to find the bloody disk anyways.
