Safe Temp For BFG 6600gt OC???

Hey everyone my names pretty much what i'm wondering, any answers would be greatful.. Just thinking about over clocking and wondering how far i can go?

You can go until you see artifacts. Remember don't OC it in 2D mode (it's completely useless to do that :)) The driver has a temperature slow down threshold that should protect it from damage if something goes amuck.

I know someone who had a 6800GT at something stupid like 190C (assuming it wasn't a shopped picture) and it still worked. That said, I wouldn't want to run it over 80C during load but if there is no artifacting feel free to go higher.
