Ok, I think I need to increase the voltage of my RAM in order to overclock stabily to 3.0GHz, but I'm not sure. Do you guys think it is safe to increase the voltage of the RAM?

To a point yes. If you are still running stock voltage then it's safe enough to increase it a bit.

If it's corsair CL4 then my buddy has the same set. he runs his at 2.3 volts overclocked and its working just fine, you should be ok.

nvm found it, it's 1.9v. Just to confirm DRAM in the BIOS is the RAM voltage correct?
