Hi guys,
this may well be answered elsewhere in this forum but there's so much info to wade through!
Last year I upgraded my desktop (Packard Bell iMedia 1308) from 512MB to 1.5GB by putting in a stick of 1GB RAM. Recently I had to call in my local 'PC expert' to try and see why it was running so slow. He advised me to remove the 512MB RAM as they wouldn't run well together as a pair. I did and ordered a 2nd 1GB stick from the same company I bought the last one from.
They have sent me RAM suitable for my PC but by a different manufacturer. Will this make any difference at all, or am I safe to proceed and stick it in?
Any comments, suggestions etc most welcome.
