Ok, I'm a little slow and just discovered this whole controversy! Is there a way to know which panel you get by looking at it, so if you buy it in a store you can ask them to open it for you first, if possible? What do you need to look at?
Dont take my word for it completly, but im pretty sure it's on the back of the monitor, you will see the serial code i think, and at the beggining or end of it, it will have an "A" "C" or "S" you want "S"

yeah, i just read an article that talks about this, but it seems even this can be wrong sometimes...there's another way you can find out by doing a certain key combination, but of course that involves having the monitor on...hopefully the store would let me test it out before i buy it and i can check this
