Samsung SyncMaster 174T glows

I got a LCD Samsung 2 days ago from my father's work. It was all ok until yesterday, when the picture become light, shining, glowing ... I was playing with drivers (couldn't find proper) but I've uninstalled them all and installed the right one. I reinstalled windows. But nothing helped. The picture is like as if there was a strong light behind monitor. It's very annoying to read now and a view looks "plastic" now. As if there was something wrong with my graphic card. Maybe an useful information would be, if I told you that when I opened some program today, it showed some error, that Win 16 (something) doesn't work properly. Would anyone know why my monitor has become lit out of the blue? How should I get the right picture back?

I got the 20" LCD from SAMSUNG, Model 205BW
Best thing I have ever seen, very nice.....

It is really hard to find the right color and resolution settup though.
The one that doesn't make your eyes cry or hurt after a few hours is the right one. lol

174T is rather an old model of samsung . im a samsung LCD promoter . but cant give u much advice on the older model . i saw the 170p . its panel is abit lighter then the newer model of samsung
 
Hey can you give me advice on my Samsung 205bw 20" LCD widescreen

I had the right color, resolution settup ?
Now I reformated and I'm having a hard time getting it right again ?
 
If it is CRT monitor i guess Pitch is fading. Probably the electron gun inside the monitor is dying? I have a 995DF and it works fine even though its ancient because I dont use it alot I guess
