SAMSUNG SyncMaster Lapfit Monitor

Hi i'm just seeking some advice on a new monitor that I wanted for my main desktop pc. I've seen this one (http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/...ng/LS22LFTGF/EN/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail) that i'm interested in, but it's advertised as a monitor for laptops only? I've searched around the net to find out if its compatible as a main screen for a DESKTOP PC, not a laptop, because I don't want to use it as a dual/secondary screen and it doesn't state if you can use it for a desktop pc anywhere!

So does anyone know? I'm sorry if this is kinda obvious, i'm not into computers lol.

I believe that it is possible to use this as a desktop pc monitor if used via the vga connection, i have done alot of research on this monitor and it looks good i will probs buy it in the new year
