Sapphire HD 4850 Crashes Computer

Hello all, I noticed that while playing Oblivion, small black squares and several other random shapes appear. I tried other games like Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Shogun Total War 2 and all had similar results. Graphics are screwed up in all games. When I tried Mass Effect it crashed my computer, so I installed the latest manufacturer driver. This did not improve the problem at all. I'm thinking about downloading an old driver, but I am not sure if that will help. The problem with all of the squares, lines, and misc. shapes has actually worsened in games. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you all.
 
Yesterday day there were a lot of artifacts in my games, but today there are zero...I periodically check the gpu temp and it never goes above 65 degrees Celsius. The newest drivers seem to be working, but we shall see.
