Sapphire Radeon HD6950 vs XFX HD6950 Dual Heatpipe 1GB

From newegg, the core clocks are the same, so they'll both be about the same. Its a powerful card. I would go for the sapphire though. Better brand.
 
Well, I heard some nice things about XFX Dual Heatpipe.
Do you know a site which compares both cards?
 
XFX make great hardware, so Im not sure how Saphire became the better choice. Get the cheapest.
 
I went with the sapphire 6950 2gb for myself.

The XFX is a less known brand but I've heard good things about both.

If they are both just the 1gb cards I would toss a coin. LOL.

Seriously though if it were me choosing between those two cards I would probably choose the Sapphire just because I know the name better.
 
According to tests xfx works better after OC, but without OC Sapphire is a bit cooler and quaieter...
 
Out of those two id go with the Sapphire,I found XFX after sales support to be very poor but thats just my personal experience.

Why not get the 2GB version though,I highly recommend it if you plan to run the very latest upcoming games like BC3 with everything maxed out.

We both are victims of XFX support.
 
Two of my friends had a issue with XFX (PSU and GPU), and after some more research we found they have an "F" rating with the BBB. That is not a rating to overlook.. XFX is not a good company to deal with. And, their support really does blow..

Give me a break. That organisation downgrades those who are not 'accredited' e.g. pay them money. The least objective organisation on the planet. But don't let a good story get in the way of the truth. You know what XFX did to get a F rating. First, be unaccredited and second have 2 complaints unresolved. Not per year but 2 in TOTAL. LOL
 
I'd get the XFX.. They back their cards with a lifetime warranty as long as you register the card in 30 days.
