SATA 1.5 or 3.0?

Intel (Kitty Hawk 1.5) Motherboard 1.2-GHz Celeron R1.
I recently purchased a WD 250GB 16MB Cache SATA-300 harddrive.
Since I didn't have a SATA port I also purhchased a SATA Host Card...however, it is limited to 1.5 GB/s transfer rate. I know I can put the jumper on and dumb-down the harddrive to SATA-150. Or maybe I should exchange the controller card for 300 MB/s capability. I'm not quire sure how the data is transferred, but will my PC-133 FrontSide Bus limit things anyway? I'm curious if I paying a little more for a new controller card is going to give any noticable change...or if I should just stick with what I have and put on a jumper.

1. there isnt much of a difference between 1.5 and 3
2. i dont think a 3.0 card would improve anything, im not sure PCI could transfer that fast
So all in all, just keep the one you have.
Edit: Listen to what The_Other_one says.

There is a huge difference between 1.5 and 3.0. Would you actually notice any difference? Nope... Drives are just hitting the 150Mbps mark, hence why Raptor's are still only running at 150. Much the same can be said about PCI-Express. I did some reasearch and even a card running at PCI-Express 4x wasn't that much slower than one in a standard 16x board! It was for that board with AGP/PCI-Express and DDR/DDR2. Some Asrock I think...
