I just recently built my first computer and everything is running fine, it's currently running on an 120GB SATA HDD. But I'd like to also add my old PATA hard drive to this new computer, since it's got a lot of my stuff already on it. So my question is is it possible to run both types of hard drives at the same time? And I have xp installed on both, would that conflict with anything if it is possible?

Yes, you should be able to run both hard drive without conflict, and depending on how your motherboard is set up, it will either boot from whichever you choose to be the first boot in the BIOS, or with will give you a choice upon startup.
