sata drivers for vista

does any one know if I will need the sata drivers for my HDD when installing vista( MSI Mobo kt6v) ive had a look on MSI's website and they have drivers for XP so will these work on Vista?

You will probably have to use the MS Upgrade Advisor found at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/buyorupgrade/upgradeadvisor.mspx

With this you have to have all devices like your printer connected as well for the advisor to auto download the updated driver version at this time. Later when updates are more readily available you will be able to find them much easier. This is commonly seen when a newer version of Windows has come out before. You wait and wait and wait...
