SATA Files viasraid failed to copy :'(

Hi,

When I try to install windows xp on my samsung 80gb hdd on the gigabyte xt600 mainboard i use the floppy with drivers on so that the installer sees the hdd then when i tell it to install on the hdd it has about 4 file copy errors, all with the beggining filename of "viasraid", i then let it proceed with copying and the computer reboots to start installing windows, the winxp logo comes up and then i get the blue screen error which tells me to restart if it is the first time i hgave seen it, so i do and it comes up agin. PLEASE HELP, i'm getting rather annoyed :(.
 
did you remember to hit f6 during the beginning of windows xp setup. If you hit f6 it will ask you eventurally for drivers for the raid controller during installation.
 
yeah i did all that and gave it the drivers and it then started installing, but wwhen copying files it couldnt copy 4 of the viasraid which are all on the floppy :S

He did that :P Thats how it started to copy

1 Check the CD for another copy of the drivers
2 Check Via's website for newer drivers :)
