hey everyone i just bought a new 160GB SATA HD. I installed into one of my dell desk tops. Now getting ready to sell the desktop and wanting to take the new hd out and put it in another dell i have. how do i wipe the hard dive clean so i can intall it in another computer. i have the sata docking station that can use to copy all my files from the other dell computer that im wanting to install the hd in. thanks

You don't really have to wipe it before installing it in a new computer. If you're using it as the boot drive, then you're going to want to reinstall your operating system, which will involve formatting the drive. Or if you're using it as a secondary drive, then you can just install it and then format it.
