Saving all internet site data on my pc

Hi.
New to the forum so i hope i post this in the right place.
my brother have a website which he want to backup, the website has only text no pictures movies just text.
is there a way i can downlod all the text to a file for backup purposes?

Is the site hosted locally or externally? If he has access to the site code all you need to do is copy the contents of the site folder from the server to somewhere else as a backup.

If you can't access that stuff, I'm not quite sure how you'd go about doing a backup.
