Saving Passwords on all Internet items

Since I lost much of my computer and had to reset much of it, when I now go on Facebook and other sites that needed a password, they were always saved on there.

No when I go on facebook and various cricket sites to upload information, I have to continually type my user name and password in each time.

I am the only user of this computer so no issues with other people using it.

Could someone please advise.

What browser are you using? When entering a password for the first time it should prompt you if you want to save it. If you use Firefox or Chrome, it syncs your saved passwords with the cloud so even if you got a new computer all your saved passwords will be stored.
 
look under options for a security tab. make sure check box for remember passwords for sites is checked.
 
I use an extension for Pale Moon/Firefox called PWDhash for passwords. But Keepass is something you might consider. I never store passwords in the browser.
 
I just saw this thread and would like some more opinion about KeePass vs browser for storing passwords. I have many different passwords (over 50) for may bank accounts, medical sites, certain shopping sites, etc. I use Google Chrome, have an account, and bookmark the my sites. But I do NOT save the passwords, because I'm not sure how safe they are compared to something like KeePass. Opinion anyone?
 
My browser only stores stupid stuff like forum passwords. Everything else is done with Roboform.
