saving video camera files to PC

Hi,

First time here so thanks in advance for any help I can get.

I have an MSI TI4200 video card that supports importing video. It came with an adapter that plugs right into the S-video jack of the card. I've plugged in my video camer to it using the S-video cable but can't seem to figure out how to get the PC to recognize the footage. The instructions that came with the card are usless...no mention of it at all. Any thoughts?

Yea, I have Intervideo WinProducer which came with the card. It's a few years old but does say that it can record from Vcr, camcorders, etc. The instructions for doing it are pretty easy but for some reason I can't the card to recognize the fact that I'm sending a signal.
 
First you must specify the video-in source. Try the "device" tab on the program's settings.
