Is it doing to slow my computer down at all? i would like to run 2 40gb HDS one for all my gaming stuff and one for pics.
 
NO! More space, better actually! thats is going to be great! (but perhaps you should have posted that in the HD chat) just a reminder;)
 
More drives can really help you out. Say you don't have too much RAM, you can stick your swap/pageing file on the secondary drive(seeing as it won't typcially be used as much) so your primary one won't be going back and forth. I know Photoshop makes this comment when first loading with some other drive present(well, about it's scratch file...)
