Scan a file before downloading

Hi,

Is it possible to scan a file before you download it?

I think there is a Virus on my other PC so if possible I will download the file I think is infected but scan it before I download it.

Hi,

Thanks for the link, I will promptly be installing that on my new PC and my parents PCs.

It was running BitDefender 2009, also the PC won't boot, it comes up with an error about Windows. Some driver issue.

My computer is now fixed! :)

I don't know why but today it booted up and I deleted the file I believed to have slowed down my computer.

Much quicker PC now, despite only having a single core processor :(
