Scanner direct to USB

I have been asked to procure a desk scanner that can scan direct to USB. It is to be portable, in which it can be moved easily from office to office.

The other requirement is that it can scan at 10 colour pages/min if connected to power mains, however if possible, have a rechargable battery for portable use.

Does a magical device like this exist, or am I just dreaming?

they exist and have seen them. Check an office supply store. Im guessing you want to also be able to save document back to computer and or print.

After searching for almost all day yesterday, the client settled on the Avision IS1000. Seemed to do what they wanted and is portable enough.
