scratched Acer AL1715 LCD

as the heading says, i got some scratches in my acer al1715 lcd monitor and in order to remove the scratches i have to buy a whole new lcd screen which is 3 times more than the bloody monitor. I've looked everywhere on how to fix it, but no real sucess. I saw there is displex plastic polish for mobiles, laptops palm helds, etc. but would this stuff work on my lcd?? are there any other ways of removing the scratch without having to buy a whole new screen??? Please help!!

u cant really fix a scratched lcd screen, how deep are the scratches? and are they long or short.

the scratches are fairly long and a lil deep as well. cant i use displex and see how that goes, or will it react to the plastic on the screen in a bad way???
