OK i recently bought one of the iPod nanos. Everyone said that they scratched easily, but i guess i was so thrilled about getting an iPod that i didn't really pay attention. When i first got it i dropped a drop of water onto the screen. I reached into my gym bag and pulled out a CLEAN pair of socks (it was the only soft thing i could find). After GENTLY rubbing off the water i noticed scratches!! From a sock? wow... i was shocked. So i come to ask, is there any type of liquid i could put on the nano to make the scratches go away? like the stuff they put on scratched audio cd's?

mmmmm try to buy that one ting on tv, if u live in the US. LOL! its like an applicant for ur glasses that just makes the scratches dissapear. it might work....
 
yea they do get scratched up very very easily, but if u call apple and tell them and really complain about it they will give u a new one. thats wat i did with mine. i bought it, it got scratched up and then sent me a new one and i ordered the nano tube while i was at it to start brand new.

this works with CD's, to remove scratches. but it's not a long term solution...jsut get it long enough to burn a good copy of the CD and then don't use the one with toothpaste anymore.

i dunno how well it would work on glass.
 
I heard a product called "Brasso" works really well, and leaves the nano looking brand new. If you give me a moment I can find a link.
 
i didnt really read it but does that Brasso or watever clean the front 2 or just the back. because i dont care about the scratches on the back as much as i do the ones on teh front.

i dont think i could see through my glasses with toothpaste on... they would probably smeel minty fresh though...
 
Yes it cleans the front as well. Read the article, there are some before and after pictures which really show how clean it gets it.
