Not really sure where I should be posting this question, since I have no idea where the actually problem lies.
When I try to install a bit of software from a CD onto one particular PC the installation runs ok, but the monitor screen blacks out and then continues to flash back on, then black out again until the installation has finished.
Weird, huh!
The monitor doesn't turn off- it just goes black. And running the exact same install directly from the PC (having copied it off the CD) doesn't have the same effect (hence why I've posted this question in here!).
Unfortunately, it's not my PC (it belongs to a customer), so I can't really test out ideas. I just wondered if anyone had ever seen this before, so I've got something to suggest to him.
