while playing games, my screens randomly stops, my left screen goes black and the secound screen goes purple (the secound screen is the one with the game on the other is running a browser)
whe the crash happens i can hear my gtx 980 fans stops running for a couple of secounds and then they start up again, after they start the system works again, but most times i have to restart the computer.

if i have not posted all the needed information under rig, just say so and ill post screenshots of the device manager.

Before you start answering or asking about something just know this, i have no clue what all the stuff in the rig does or is called, so please talk to me like im a 5 year old :) and thanks alot for any help or advice you can give.

Rig:
GeForce GTX 980 evga
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
16 GB Ram
Windows 8.1
Left screen (browser screen) BenQ XL2420T (Running 1920x1080, 120Hertz)
Right screen (running the games) BenQ XL2420Z (Running 1920x1080, 120 Hertz)
Corsair CX600 (Power Supply)
Corsair Force 3 SSD
WDC WD10EZRX-00A8LB0

How old is the power supply? Sounds like either possible power supply issue or video card.

I would have to say it's the video card. Is it possible to try it in a different machine?

no i only have the one im using, is there a software that can test it or should i see if i can get a replacement for the card, the warranty might still work for it

I am posting some extra pictures in case they might help, i have also tried running the systems memory scanner "Diagnose your computer's memory problems" and it found no errors.

After this im going to try running a tool from the control panel "hardware and sound - Configure a device" to see if it finds any errors, i will update after it has run (UPDATE: http://prntscr.com/8co77q) it gave me that message after running it.

the pictures are me running evga's benchmark tool and what other evga tools says about my system.

None of those are helping. You have to diagnose the issue. This type of issue isn't solvable without diagnosing. Have you tried updating the video driver?

everything is up to date. no windows update, geforce experience updates.
how can i diagnose it?

i dont know if this is what you are talking about but tried to run "perfmon /report" but it just told me the admin had refuced the request (im the only user of the computer and is set as admin)

You diagnose by trying different parts. Can't do that if you don't have another computer to try the video card in. May have to take it in to have it done. Don't have any friends that have computers?

the only friends i have with computers are laptop owners. i only think its possible to connect the video card to a laptop right? so cant test the power suply

Can't use a laptop to test video card. My best guess is video card but not 100 percent sure. You have both power connectors going to video card secured?

That video doesn't help. If you don't have another pc or video card to try, then you'll have to take it in to someone for them to diagnose. It seems nothing with computers is ever easy.
