Screen flickering everytime I overclock 1090t

I've been trying to overclock my 1090t to 4ghz and managed to find it stable with 1.45v, but when I run a game, I always see screen flickering.
I tested with a tiny overclock of even 300mhz and I still get screen flickering, but with no overclock I dont get any screen flickering.
ASUS M4A77TD Mobo
Settings are 200x20=4ghz
vcore 1.45v
everything else is set to auto
ram frequency at 1333mhz
Seems fine to me unless someone with a m4a77td can tell me their settings..which i doubt. My GFX card is a: Gigabyte GTX 460 Super Overclock
Anyone can help me find a solution?

Overclocking does some weird things sometimes. Does it do it with any FSB setting that isn't default? Did you try disabling the turbo mode/cool n' quiet? Don't know if either is the cause but mixing either with overclocking is usually trouble.

I have tried messing around with settings it still does it..

Corsair CX 600, should be able to handle it..

However now I've taken it back to its default settings... it still flickers, so now I'm thinking maybe the gfx card is having problems, I can tell because when I first boot up, after the starting windows screen theres a few screen flickers and I know from there.. I'm thinking i shouldn't have tried to overclock.. And I'm wondering if reformatting, taking everything back to factory settings might fix this..reinstalling windows and bios..

Ive narrowed it down to either the PSU.. which I doubt, the GFX card.. which it could possibly be, and the ram: Corsair XMS3 1333MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5V, which is faulty :/

Update: In the nvidia control panel I applied 'force vsync on' setting and it seems to have fixed the problem :)
