Screen going blue?

I have an X1800xt 256mb card, and yesterday I overclocked it to 634/756 when playing 3d games. Every hour or so the the screen goes blue, and I must restart my computer. I scanned for artifacts, and it didn't find any. What could be the problem? I'm using the Catalyst 6.7 drivers. I used ati tool to oc it.

Specs

P4 2.93GHz, 533MHz fsb
Asus PTGD1-LA mobo
1.25GB ram
X1800XT 256mb clocked to 650 core/ 751 memory
160GB Western Digital hard drive, 80GB Hard drive
Epower 500W duel rail psu

Is there a message on that blue screen? If so, what does the message say? It sounds like you have too much overclock happening and need to clock it back a bit.

I don't know what to do. I set the speeds to 625/750 which are the stock speeds, and it still does it about once every day. I THINK it does this when it switches profiles when I exit a 3-d game. Anyway to fix this?

this could be a number of things...videocard overheating...monitor going out or at too high resolutions...faulty video card...are you running the fans at the stock speed? if so i would download rivatuner and set the fan speed to about 70% yes it makes it a little noisier but its not an issue i run mine at 70%...and what resolution are you running?

It's not video card overheating. My card idles around 47-54C and never gets above 60C when gaming because I turn the fan up to 100%. I'm running at 1024x768. I think the issue is with the profiles. When I go into a 3-d game it loads the profile with the higher clock speeds, but when I minimize the 3-d game and go to something else that is 3-d it wants to reload the profile and the sreen goes a solid color. Not sure how I can fix that.
