Hello All,
I recently got a wireless HDMI adapter so I can use my PC on my TV. I already run dual monitors so my idea was to get a DVI splitter so I can basically use my primary monitor both on my PC and my TV while keeping the secondary monitor directly plugged into my PC. The whole set up works but the screen resolution is a bit of an issue.
When I have the TV and primary monitor hooked in through the splitter I only have two resolution options; 1024x768 and 800x600. My native resolution for my monitor is 1440x900 which is what I would like to run it at. In order to get that I went into my NVIDIA control panel and created a custom screen resolution of 1440x900. However, for some reason this is all out of whack and looks nothing like the resolution I'm used to. I tinkered with it a bit and found a resolution that fits the screen but everything is fuzzy.
My question is, how do I get my PC monitor to have the resolution I want while using a DVI splitter? If creating a custom resolution is the way to go, how do I make it clear and not fuzzy?
Thanks for any help you guys have!
